Nahal Ergot nature reserve

Nahal Erugot is a large stream that drains the center of the Judean Desert.  start east of Hebron, and flow north of Ein Gedi. In contrast to Nahal David, Nahal Arugut has a drainage basin of more than 200 square kilometers. In the last kilometers before the Dead Sea, it falls into a huge canyon with a depth of over 500 meters and spring water flows through it all year round. In the flowing canyon there is a beautiful hiking trail from the parking lot of the reserve to the area. The hidden waterfall” and the “upper pools” in the stream
